Note: Nearly every church planting network and assessment center uses some form of Ridley's list of characteristics for an effective church planter. Determining God's call and a readiness to plant a church is crucial. It demands ruthless self-examination!

Do You Have What It Takes to be a Church Planter?

This brief assessment may help you to consider 13 attributes
that many effective church planters have in common.

If you scored:

100-130: Green Thumb
Run, don't walk to talk with your Senior Pastor or regional church planting leader about church planting!

75-99: Explorer
You definitely should explore church planting further. You could be a valuable team member on a church planting team.

50-74: Special Agent
You may be gifted take a specific assignment in a church plant as a help to the leadership team. Talk to a leader in your life and check out the needs of church planters near you.

25-49: Investigator
Your gifts will flourish in other areas of ministry. You should continue to investigate options with leaders in your life.
